The renowned artist Alfred Munnings reflected on Morston church as "a place of repose, a place to dream in"; and Norfolk writer Lilias Rider Haggard noted the sight "from the crown of the Langham road, lying among the serried ranks of harvest fields".

Please join with us to keep it so.

Your subscriptions and donations will help to maintain

A

ll Saints Morston stands on the coast road at the eastern entrance of this north Norfolk village. Overlooking pasture, fields and saltmarsh, the grey mediaeval building rises over a steep churchyard with distinctive roof crenellations and a brick- patched tower.
It is a church of outstanding character. Built between the 11th and 13th Centuries, and with a magnificent 15th Century painted screen, the nave and chancel retain an atmosphere of worship continuous for nearly a thousand years.
But it needs constant care. That is why we have formed the Friends of Morston Church , and as Chairman, I invite you to help us.
About £100,000 will be needed over the next decade. Some of this will come from existing sources, but the parish is also burdened with growing contributions to the Norwich diocese, from a village of less than a hundred people. The money we raise will be devoted to the fabric of this beautiful place.
Please help by becoming a Friend , or by making a donation for this very special cause.  All gifts are welcome, but subscriptions running into the future would be especially so.
