1. Law

Your access and use of the Powditch website is subject to the following terms and

conditions ("Terms and Conditions") and all applicable laws.

the website owner (John C Algar; hereinafter referred to as `JCA')

and you accept, without limitation or qualification, that the said Contract is subject

to the Laws of England and Wales (only), as well as the hereunder mentioned Terms and

this subject matter between you and JCA is superseded and of no force or effect.

Furthermore, it is agreed that any dispute you may have with the said JCA will intitially

be dealt with between yourself and the said JCA, secondly through the dispute being

presented, by both or all parties involved in same, to an independent

arbitrator for his, her or their final recommendation(s) or decision, but that should

such steps by either the initial or second means fail to reconcile the matter,

that such dispute will be dealt with by the Courts of England and Wales, which shall

enjoy and take precedence over the laws or regulations of any other Country.

personal information, education, entertainment, and communication, and you are

invited to please feel free to browse the website in its entirety.

Whilst the downloading of the Powditch website (www.powditch.plus.com/) in its entirety

- being all pages, documents, photographs, data and all and every other piece of

information (including but not restricted to, the intellectual ownership of the

website and the information contained therein) is totally illegal and in

contravention of all Internet Laws, Privacy, and the Laws of all

civilised Countries of the World, JCA states that should you require to

download specific pages containing certain material, photographs, data, or any

of JCA, or used with permission by the donor or lender of same.

Your right to Privacy is very important, and I recognise that when you choose to

provide me with information about yourself and/or your own family

or associated members of the Powditch family, you trust me

to act in a responsible manner. I believe that such information when freely given by

yourself, and without any restrictions being placed on the dissemination of same

at the point of your providing to me such information (in whatever format you

choose) should only be used to help me to provide the Powditch family, its

descendants and associated families, with a better knowledge of its history,

both past and present.

In general, when you visit this website and access information, you remain anonymous.

'Cookies' are not used on any part of this website, and it is not intended that they should be introduced either now or in the future. I do however retain the right to use them, but would state that all users of this website would be issued with an advance notice advising that 'Cookies' were going to be used, should that situation ever arise.

Before any personal information regarding present-day (or, in certain other instances, past-) members of the Powditch or its associated family, is added to the Powditch website, I will contact all known living members of the immediate family and seek permission to reproduce such personal information on this said website. PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT (2)

(as at 28 February 2006)

Whilst since 21 January 2004 there has not been any overall or major change to any part or parts, words or wording of the above-stated and written 'Privacy Policy Statement (1)', the latter, when

used in conjunction with '3. Terms and Conditions (part 1)', needs some minor clarification.

Whereas the first paragraph of this above-stated and written 'Privacy Policy Statement (1)'

(dated 21 January 2004) includes the wording of;-
