The Memoirs, Extracts, Reminiscences, and Notes relating to The Powditch Family in Chile
are accessible from the first 7 'links' above, and the said Memoirs, Extracts,
Reminiscences, and Notes were kindly given to me by the late Robert Powditch of
Stamford, Lincolnshire, UK, both for safe-keeping as well as for the purpose of
undertaking further research into his family and their history and for my producing a
definitive account of same; a history of which he was ever so proud.
Whilst all information regarding the pre-c1820 branch of the Powditch family who went to
Chile has been personally researched by myself, I would wish you to note that the
information and details contained within the following 7 'boxes' (and/or the 'links' above)
are the words, findings, research and notes of others, both Powditch and non-Powditch,
from the 19th and 20th centuries, and all have been reproduced from original documents
without any alteration whatsoever by me.
However, all of the words, findings, research and notes of others are the subject of
continuing research by myself, and I would welcome and appreciate any assistance
and further information from living descendants in order to embellish, add to, or correct,
etc details of the family. Should you have or have access to any further original
documents, I would also be more than happy to include them within
"The Powditch Family in Chile" section.
Please will you send any information etc, to me via email to;
Thank you
